This small cemetery is the resting place of Laura Ratcliffe Hanna, who was born in Fairfax City and grew up near Herndon, Virginia. During the Civil War, she was suspected of helping southern cavalry commanders John S. Mosby and J. E. B. Stuart. Although Laura was never arrested, she is credited with providing information which helped Mosby avoid capture. The cemetery is well maintained and cared for.
